Process

Most firms are paid to build. We are paid to be right first.

Three ways in, one standard, and a commercial structure that only works if the specification is correct. This is the whole method — there is no longer version.

Independence

Retained by the client. Never by the vendor.

We are retained by the institution making the decision, not by the suppliers hoping to deliver it. Our job is to hold the owner's outcome when commercial incentives, technical complexity and organisational pressure make that outcome easy to dilute.

Before procurement, that means defining one requirement the market can price. During delivery, it means testing progress against working evidence rather than a supplier's interpretation of completion.

Our compensation does not grow with a vendor's scope, a platform choice or a longer programme. We can recommend buying, retaining an incumbent, narrowing the mandate or not proceeding at all.

When your integrator's estimate arrives, someone has to be able to say whether it is reasonable. Usually that someone is the integrator.

The institution keeps the specification, the evidence and the right to choose who builds.

Three models. One of them carries the outcome.

With us

Ours is the only model that does not depend on the client building.

A considered first step

Begin with the decision, not the build.

Our engagements open with a short, independent assessment before significant budget is committed.
