A focused definition engagement should leave leadership able to act.
- Is the user and operating problem real at the expected scale?
- Can the critical technical path work with available systems and data?
- Which controls and organisational changes are required?
- What should be built, bought, partnered or stopped?
- What will delivery cost, and what evidence will govern release?
Evidence creates options
The strongest outcome may be a build-ready programme, a changed sourcing decision, or a recommendation not to proceed. Finding that answer before a major commitment is the value of the work.
